Pegasus Czardinki was the very first purebred Arabian we purchased. She was born in 1988 and was still very much active in the herd as "Nana" to the foals, and teaching our kids how to ride, right up to the end. She was sired by Diinh-Moe Sayyid and out of Czarina. Her bloodlines shout the who's who of endurance.

Being there right from the beginning, "Dinki" was the only choice when it came to who got the job of taking me to my wedding. She was about as impressed as being all dressed up as I was, and with only one lesson in a side-saddle before the day, she proved again just how amazing and how versatile and how adaptable the Arabian horse really is.
Although a fabulous mother, Dinki was probably plagued with more losses of foals than any other horse I've known. Through no fault of her own, nor through any genetic disorder, she lost three fillies and one that I missed that I don't know the sex of. She did manage to keep three to her name. Two beautiful fillies and one colt. Gone but never forgotten. She is greatly missed.
